Congratulations on Constitution Day of Ukraine
On behalf of the Uatom.org Editorial Board, we congratulate the Ukrainians on the Constitution Day!
On 28 June 1996, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine expressing the sovereign will of citizens and relying on the centuries-old history of the Ukrainian state adopted the Basic Law of the State, the Constitution of Ukraine.
The Constitution entered the public life as the main guarding of statehood and democracy, a guarantor of Ukraine’s independence and unity that guarantees citizens the universally recognized rights and freedoms, personifies the highest legal force, the rule of law, political, economic and ideological diversity.
Let the democratic principles established in this extremely important document become the realities of our present and the spirit of legality enter the heart of every Ukrainian. We hope for the best, we believe in a promising future, we are building together a new strong European state!
