SSTC NRC Presented its Capabilities at IV International Forum “Innovation Market”

The State Scientific and Technical Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety presented the latest developments in the field of nuclear and radiation safety at the IV International Forum Innovation Market held in November at the International Exhibition Center in Kyiv.

Forum visitors had the opportunity to learn at the enterprise’s stand how the Center conducts radiation survey, training and examination on radiation safety, and how it trains branch experts and those whose activities are related to the use of radiation sources to test their knowledge in the field of the standards, rules and regulations for nuclear and radiation safety.

University students and professors asked specialists about the functioning of portable dosimeters-radiometers, information on the Chornobyl exclusion zone and radiation sources. The radiation survey services were of the greatest interest to ecologists and farmers. The opportunities for training and knowledge examination in the field of radiation safety were more relevant for researchers and scientists.

The latest issues of Nuclear and Radiation Safety Journal were presented at the display stand. Both senior scientists and their younger generation – participants of the Junior Academy of Sciences, noticed the publication. Someone noticed it to find out about the actual results of scientific discoveries, and someone – to publish the results of their own research on the pages of this journal.

SSTC NRS specialists told helpfully to the stand visitors about the enterprise, general issues of radiation and nuclear safety, and portable radiation survey equipment that the Center has at its disposal.

INNOVATION MARKET is a meeting place for innovators, inventors, producers of leading innovative technologies, experts in the field of innovations, authors of startup projects, business representatives, representatives of the investment and financial institutions and consultants in the field of intellectual property protection.
