Kateryna Pavlova, Head of the SAUEZM International Cooperation and Public Relations Department since February 2017, was appointed the Acting Head of the State Agency of Ukraine on Exclusion Zone Management.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the relevant Ordinance on 5 February 2020.
Kateryna Pavlova has diplomas of the Kharkiv National Technical University of Agriculture (power engineer) and the Academy of Agricultural Business (Denmark). He has more than 10 year experience of work in Ukraine and Europe, several state and national awards for professional activities.
Pavlova speaks six foreign languages: English and Danish (fluently), Norwegian, Swedish and Serbian (conversational level) and Chinese (elementary level).
During the work at the agency, Kateryna Pavlova implemented projects related to the development of alternative energy, non-proliferation of nuclear weapons and export control of materials of mass destruction, radiation and nuclear safety, safe radioactive waste management, and development of scientific area of the exclusion zone. Some of them were joint projects with NATO and EU countries.
Since January 2020, Pavlova is a member of the expert group at the Columbia University (USA).
