Ukrainian Nuclear Society will hold a panel “35 years after the Chornobyl Accident: from past to future”

On April 27, 2021, the Ukrainian Nuclear Society will hold the International Panel “35 years after the Chornobyl Accident: from past to future” within the nternational Conference “Problems of Decommissioning of Nuclear Power Plants and Environmental Recovery” INUDECO 2021.

During a separate panel, specialists from the Institute of NPP Safety Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Chornobyl NPP will present reports on the current state of Chernobyl and Exclusion Zones, projects to transform the Shelter into an environmentally friendly system, and risks associated with decommissioning.

The international panel will be conducted online with the participation of representatives of the European Nuclear Society and the nuclear societies of the United States, Japan, Canada, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Australia, China and other countries.
