IAEA Nuclear Safety Essay Competition for Students and Early Career Professionals

A 18-30 year-old and interested in nuclear safety topic? IAEA invites your to take part in the essay competition. Winners will receive financial support to attend the International Conference on a decade of progress after Fukushima-Daiichi: “Building on the lessons learned to further strengthen nuclear safety” and participate in a special youth panel at IAEA Headquarters (Vienna, Austria) on 8-12 November 2021.

All travel and accommodation expenses in Vienna are borne by the IAEA.

Under the terms of the competition, the participant must disclose one of the questions in his essay. Submissions must be submitted in English, and the deadline is Saturday, July 31, 2021.

The IAEA especially encourages women and nationals from developing countries to participate in the essay competition.

The winners of the essay competition will be announced in August 2021.
