Conference of young scolars and professionals “Problems of Modern Nuclear Energy”

November 17-19, 2021 V. Karazin Kharkiv National University will host the XVI International Scientific and Technical Conference of Young Scientists and Professional “Problems of Modern Nuclear Energy”.

Organisers of the event are: Ukrainian Nuclear Society, V. Karazin Kharkiv National University and National Research Centre “Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology”.

 

 

The conference will discuss trends and prospects for the development of nuclear energy in Ukraine and the world, including the development of the nuclear energy complex, materials for nuclear energy and the latest research, improving the safety and efficiency of nuclear power plants, extending the life of units and aging equipment. NPPs, issues of nuclear, radiation and environmental safety in the management of radwaste and spent fuel and others. A collection of participants’ reports will be prepared based on the results of the conference.

 Requirements for the preparation and course of the conference:

 by September 24, 2021 – submission of applications for participation in the conference and submission of reports;

  • by October 15, 2021 – receipt by the Organizing Committee of abstracts;
  • November 17, 2021 – registration of participants, opening, 1st session;
  • November 18, 2021 – 2nd session of the conference;
  • November 19, 2021 – 3rd session, closing of the conference.

Working languages ​​of the conference are Ukrainian, English, Russian.
