Destroyed Borders: Radiation Survey in Kyiv Region
The State Scientific and Technical Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety invites you to a meeting at the National Chornobyl Museum, which will be held on 25 April at 5 PM.
On the commemoration of the 37th anniversary of the Chornobyl accident, SSTC NRS will hold an event “NON-Lecture: Wartime Radiation” and present an exposition “Destroyed Borders: Radiation Survey of the Kyiv Region”.
Museum visitors will be able to communicate with the SURVEY Project participants – members of the crew of the mobile radiation reconnaissance laboratory and get acquainted with radiation survey results on the de-occupied territories in the Kyiv region right next to the exposition.
The main purpose of this event is to raise public awareness on radiation safety and inform on the consequences of the russian federation’s invasion to the exclusion zone and zone of unconditional (mandatory) resettlement.
Specialists and ordinary citizens are invited to the meeting because according to the organizers, the issues that will be raised are relevant for a country in a state of war.
