Exhibition “Chornobyl. Journey”
Opened on the 35th anniversary of the Chornobyl disaster, the exhibition offers a journey through the history of the tragedy, the city of Prypyat and the aftermath of the catastrophe from 1986 to the present. The multimedia and artistic means of the exposition allow you to visit the Exclusion Zone with the help of virtual reality technology, in particular — to see with your own eyes how the 4th power unit was covered with the arch of the New Safe Confinement. And also, to record your memories, thoughts and experiences in video or audio format.
The project concept was developed and implemented by the Gres Todorchuk agency. Pavlo Gudimov became the curator, Slava Balbek became the architect, and Oleg Nasvit became the scientific supervisor.
Organizers: Office of the President of Ukraine, State Agency of Ukraine for Exclusion Zone Management, Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources and Ministry of Culture and Information Policy.
