One Year Since the Liberation of the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone

Today is the anniversary of the de-occupation of the Chornobyl nuclear power plant and the exclusion zone. On 31 March 2022, the russian invaders left Chornobyl NPP, forcing Chornobyl NPP workers to sign the acceptance certificate of the plant.

After the biggest man-made disaster in the world – the explosion at Chornobyl NPP Unit 4 – Ukrainian nuclear scientists are fighting again to restore nuclear and radiation safety, overcoming the consequences of the presence of russian invaders.

In the photo, you can see what the invaders left one year ago: broken and robbed office and household premises, laboratories, garages with automotive equipment.

The Press Service of the State Agency for the Exclusion Zone Management provided the photo.
